This was the first poster we designed ourselves when we first set up as a collective in 2022. We had some discussion about whether the cat should be an anarchist or a communist but eventually settled on communist, even though none of us have ever been members of a communist organisation - we just liked the imagery. Rocky has turned out to be more of a dictator than libertarian in any case.
The cat in the poster is Rocky, who lives with a member of the collective. He's now three and a half years old - he was only about eight months old in the picture on the poster.
We deliberately made the picture of Rocky, the hat and bandana look like a bad photoshop (at the time we didn't have a lot of experience in graphics so we couldn't have done much better anyway).
The Radical Poster Collective is dedicated to making good quality classic radical posters available at an affordable price.
Our fridge magnets are either digitally cleaned up to remove tears or stains etc, or completely recreated to be as close as possible to the original.
The size is approximately 95mm by 69mm.
All of our fridge magnets are also available as A3 posters.
