Since we started our collective in 2022 we have found more and more examples of really great radical art, from collections focused on art and posters created at specific times or places to graphic artists creating new work.

Here are a few examples of links which we think are worth a look:

Sociedad Benefica de Historiades Aficionados y Creadores - A magnificent library of Spanish Civil War posters with autobiographical information about the artists.

Poster Plakat - Posters from the Soviet Union and its Satellite Nations - A massive collection of posters from the Soviet Union, with information about artists, printers and publishers, including publishing dates.

Obey Giant/The Art of Shepard Fairey - Official page of Shepard Fairey, political mural artist.

Justseeds Artists' Cooperative - A network of artists committed to social, environmental and political engagement.

Merril C Berman Collection - A wide range of 19th Century art and design graphics and articles, including Bauhaus, Soviet Union and Spanish Civil War posters and graphic art.

The Poster-Film Collective - A group formed in London in 1971, initially to produce posters in response to the miners strike, and the wars in Vietman and Ireland.

Libcom - A massive resource for anyone fighting to improve their lives, communities and working conditions, includes an archive of posters from Spain and much more.

Marxist Internet Archive - Huge archive, multiple languages. Our link is to just one part of the archive: Satire and Art Inspired by Socialist and Radical Ideas, arranged chronologically and by geography, but there is lots more to discover on their site.

Spelling Mistakes Cost Lives - High quality subversive art.

Socialist Struggle - A massive and beautiful chaotic collection of writing, photographs, press cuttings and posters.

New Historical Express - Hatful of History - Links to thousands of radical publications arranged by country.

Anti-Fascist Archive - A extensive public collection of Anti-Fascist Action, Red Action (and other anti-fascist) material including photographs, stickers and literature.

See Red Women's Workshop - Producers of feminist posters between 1974 and 1990.

Red Shoes Poster Archive - Not-for-profit social justice poster archive and education project. Preserving and celebrating working class poster art.

Past Tense - a project exploring working class, social, subversive and underground history and geography in London.

Seditionist Distribution - Publishing branch of Venceremos a collective of working class grassroots activists and organisers who’ve come together to share digital media, print, and IT skills.

Industrial Workers of the World (IWW)The IWW is a revolutionary global union, fighting for better conditions today and economic democracy tomorrow.

Active Distribution - distributing a wide range of ‘all things anarchist’ and maintaining a DIY and not for profit ethic.

We have also loaded some of our posters onto Redbubble - we don't print or distribute these ourselves, but we thought it was a reasonable way to make some of our posters available outside of the UK. Redbubble also arrange printing on a wide range of products, including t-shirts, mobile phone cases, clocks etc - you can find our Redbubble store here.
