Welcome to Mammothville 2022 - 2025 photo book.

During the three year period 2022 - 2025, three digs were carried out at a small gravel quarry within the Cotswold Water Park.
Hundreds of people took part in the digs, and finds included the fossilised remains of mammoths and other mammals from just over 200,000 years ago, as well as ammonites and ichthyosaur remains from over 160 million years ago.
Our book of photos captures something of the excitement - and the fun - we had while taking part in this amazing dig.
All profits from the sales of the book will go towards funding future digs.
