La Anarquía Explicada a los Niños - Anarchy explained to children - 1931, by R Pujo.

Front cover of a book by José Antonio Emmanuel (the pseudonym of José Ruiz Rodriguez) which became the classic text explaining anarchism in a way that was suitable for children. The book may have been written some time before 1931 but couldn't be published during the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera.

The book was published by the BAI (International Anarchist Library) - based in Barcelona, which published short ideological texts for 20 cents. The book has been reprinted many times over the years and there are still editions, translations and updates to be found.

The words on the front cover translate as follows: Help; Support; Copy the beautiful; Love and Protect; Work (ie for for the good of humanity); Don't have slaves; Grow; Study; Work (to the best of your ability, to contribute).
